Most roofs and parking spots are not perfect. Trees grow, chimneys and vents cast shadows and debris shows up between cleanings. With ShadowFlux, shaded cells are managed so they do not drag down the whole panel or overheat. By holding temperatures down and avoiding hotspot damage, ShadowFlux helps extend usable panel life by up to 5 years compared to conventional designs in the same conditions. ShadowFlux panels use 25 percent efficiency N type cells with anti hotspot technology so they run cooler and convert more of the light they do see into usable power. They are about 7 percent smaller and 10 percent lighter than many comparable panels, which makes a real difference when you are working on a van roof, a small cabin, a shed or a crowded rack.

Both the 200W and 120W models are rated at IP67 or better, protecting against dust, water and mechanical stress. They are designed to operate from minus 40°F to 185°F, so they are at home on baking summer roofs and frosty winter mornings alike.

With 36.5V open circuit voltage on the 200W and 33.69V on the 120W, ShadowFlux panels are well suited to 12V and 24V battery systems when paired with an MPPT charge controller, giving strong flexibility for mobile and stationary installs.
