This tiny house home cabin solar kit is built so a small home or cabin can run typical household appliances with confidence, fully off grid. High efficiency N type solar panels, a powerful 48V 3500W solar inverter charger, and matched AGM or lithium battery banks work together to keep lights, refrigeration, pumps, electronics and comfort loads running day after day, without depending on the grid.
The kit is designed around living normally, not just “camping with solar.” The 48V 3500W solar inverter charger takes DC power from the battery bank and converts it into clean 120V AC for everyday appliances. It also adds AC or grid charging, so a generator or utility line can recharge the batteries quickly when needed. That combination makes it much easier to use standard fridges, pressure pumps, outlets and electronics instead of compromising on every device.
Latest generation high efficiency N type panels feed the system with strong production, even when roof space is limited. A reliable 2.5kWh class battery bank per kit block, integrated DC circuit protection and built in Bluetooth monitoring round out a complete small home or cabin power system.
The included BT 2 Bluetooth Module links the system to the Renogy DC HOME smartphone app. That makes it easy to watch solar input, battery status and load information in real time from inside the space, instead of guessing or walking out to the power wall to check a display. It is a small feature that makes daily use and troubleshooting far more convenient.
The RKIT1200 family is built around a 1.2kW solar array and the 48V inverter charger, then tailored for different mounting and battery needs.
This 1.2kW family is well suited to smaller cabins and tiny homes with modest but steady loads.
For higher demand or more regular use, the RKIT2500 series scales the array and storage while keeping the same inverter and protection approach.
The 2.5kW versions are designed for tiny homes and cabins that see daily use, heavier appliance loads or more frequent bad weather.
Every kit is built on the same 320W N type monocrystalline modules, which means consistent performance and simplified design across the system.
Each panel delivers 320W at STC, with an optimum operating voltage of 37.85V and current of 8.46A. Open circuit voltage is 43.82V, short circuit current is 8.92A, and the panel is rated for 1000V DC systems with a 20A maximum series fuse. Operating temperature spans from -40°F to 185°F (-40°C to 85°C), with cell efficiency at 22.2 percent.
Physical size is 1640 × 880 × 35 mm (about 64.6 × 34.7 × 1.4 in) and weight is 14.9 kg (32.9 lb). Panels carry CE, ISO and UL certifications, plus long term output and workmanship coverage.
The kits can be paired with either 12V 200Ah deep cycle AGM or 12V 200Ah Core Series LiFePO4 batteries.
The AGM option offers a 12V, 200Ah sealed deep cycle battery (20 hour rate to 10.5V), with typical internal resistance around 3.5 mΩ. Batteries can be wired in series or parallel up to four units. Standard operating temperature is centered at 77°F ± 9°F (25°C ± 5°C), and each case measures 20.6 × 9.4 × 8.8 in and weighs about 127.9 lb.
The Core Series lithium iron phosphate option provides a 12.8V, 200Ah battery with a 10V to 14.8V working range and around 5000 cycles at 80 percent depth of discharge to 80 percent end of life (0.5C, 25°C). Maximum charge and discharge current are both 200A. Each unit measures 18.4 × 8.4 × 8.2 in, weighs about 50.7 lb, uses M8 × 1.25 × 16 mm terminal bolts and carries an IP67 protection rating.
Overall, these tiny house and home cabin solar kits turn compact spaces into fully powered, off grid homes with roof-ready solar, serious storage, a smart 48V inverter charger and real time Bluetooth monitoring, all designed to work together from day one.
